Mobile phlebotomy is a service where a trained phlebotomist come to your location to collect blood samples for laboratory testing.

Yes, in most cases you'll need a physicians order (lab requisition) to perform the blood draw. However, we also provide Self-Pay testing options at your convenience. 

Lab results will typically be ready in 3-5 business days though certain tests may take longer. Once your lab results are ready, your doctor will typically reach out 2-3 days after to review the results together.

For your Privacy, Touch of Texas does not receive any information on your lab result status. Only you, the provider who ordered your labs, and the laboratory you selected will receive your lab results.

Touch of Texas charges an out-of-pocket convenience fee. In certain cases, you can submit your receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Once your specimens are delivered to the laboratory you select, the testing itself is generally covered by insurance. 

This service is perfect for busy proffesionals, elderly patients, pediatric patients, people with anxiety around clinics, and homeboud or post surgery patients. 

Most blood draws take 10-15 minutes from start to finish.
